Lukwika / Lumesule Game Reserve and Ndechela Open Area

For the serious Elephant Trophy hunter, Lukwika-Lumesule Game Reserve in the South of Tanzania, bordering Mozambique, is probably one of the last big Elephant hunting enclaves in Africa. A limited number of safaris are offered with excellent potential for trophy Elephant where sightings of 60 to 70 pound class tuskers are a frequent occurrence. A classic, luxury tented camp overlooks the Ruvuma River, embracing stunning sunsets and scenery.

Msanjesi Game Reserve is also part of the Elephant corridor between Reserve de Nyasa, Lukwika and the Selous. Msanjesi has very good hunting in the early months of July and August in trophy Elephant, Leopard, Kudu, and Sable.
