Kilombero Mlimba

A vast floodplain interspersed with reed islands, gradually rising into forested hills and then mountains is the setting of our Mlimba camp in the Kilombero Valley. The river system here is home to enormous Crocodile and abundant Hippo. Lion, Leopard, Roosevelt Sable, Elephant, Buffalo, Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Bushpig, Duiker and Warthog share the banks and high ground along with thousands of Puku. The camp is located on the banks of the Mnyera River which has some of the best tiger fishing available in Africa.
