Our Mgeta camp is set on one of the many channels that make up the Kilombero floodplain. This area is famous for its massive herds of Buffalo, big Lions, massive Crocodile, Hippo and thousands of Puku. Adrenaline filled stalks and close contacts are all part of what makes the hunt truly exciting in this area. To cross this unusual terrain we use traditional dug-out canoes, custom Go-Devil boats and a 28-foot river-cruiser. Our colossal “swamp” buggy maneuvers over this terrain with ease, whilst at the same time providing the perfect viewing platform.
